Shipping, Pickup & Returns


Products purchased on our website are shipped via Canada Post to all customers within Canada and across North America. For your convenience, a shipping estimator is available on the Shopping Cart page before checking out.

North Trail Sports does not drop-ship or backorder items on our website however some products are special order items which may require longer delivery times. This will be noted in the product description where applicable.

Orders are generally processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days. Once a package leaves our warehouse it becomes the responsibility of the carrier. Should your package not arrive within the carrier's published delivery standards, North Trail Sports can initiate a trace on your behalf.

Free Shipping (Within Canada):

To qualify for free shipping, orders placed must be a minimum of $99 before taxes and under 8 Kilograms in total weight. Qualifying items will be shipped via Canada Post and the service chosen will be at the discretion of North Trail Sports. Any item(s) exceeding 8 kilograms or considered oversized are subject to a flat rate charge based on dimensions and weight.

Currently, free shipping is limited to customers residing in Canada. This offer is subject to change without notice.

Pick-up Orders / Direct Sales - Etobicoke:

North Trail Sports offers our local customers in the GTA the option to pick up orders by appointment in order to avoid shipping charges. If this is your preference, simply select the "Store Pick-up" option during checkout. Once the order is received, we will contact you via e-mail and advise as to when your item(s) will be available and arrange a mutually convenient time for pickup.

CURRENT PICKUP TIMES:  Mon-Fri 9:30am to 10:00am by appointment only (In certain circumstances, appointments outside these times may be arranged)

CURRENT SERVICE AREA: South Etobicoke (QEW/Islington area)

Please note, items are held in our warehouse for a maximum of ninety (90) days, after which the order is cancelled and the product placed back in inventory.

Direct sales using Interac (EMT) Visa or MasterCard are also available in certain circumstances. Please contact us for details.

Product Returns:

We want you to be completely satisfied with your shopping experience at North Trail Sports, so if you've ordered the wrong product, something wasn't what you thought it would be, or you just changed your mind, you can return your products for an exchange or refund within 10 days of receiving your order.

Defective/DOA Products

  • In many cases, a manufacturer’s warranty will apply and service will be available directly through them. We will gladly help facilitate your warranty claim with the manufacturer where possible. 
  • Other products may be covered by our in-house defect protection and our customer service team will be happy to work with you directly to resolve any issues.
  • Any applicable manufacturer or in-house warranty will be noted in the product description.

Return Process:

  • Simply email us at service@northtrailsports.com to initiate a return request or use the contact form on our website.
  • Exchange, store credit or refund will be provided on items which are unused and unopened and returned to us undamaged, in as-new condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable except in the instance where we shipped the wrong product or have confirmed an item to be defective while under warranty.
  • If you are unsure about any features or compatibility of a product, please contact us first prior to ordering and we will provide any information you require.
  • Please remember to include your name and address with your return and a copy of your purchase receipt.
  • We strongly recommend you use a postal or courier service that provides tracking capabilities as well as sufficient insurance coverage to protect you against lost packages or damage incurred while in transit.
